The Trout Inn brand development
Over the years The Trout Inn brand image had become confused and irrelevant considering the pub's location and purpose. Before creating the new brand we
re-established the core values, these included: modesty, simplicity, freedom and an affinity with nature. From these we created the visual elements; we applied a contemporary twist to a classic pub typeface by using just the lower case characters. We kept all text aligned left, avoided tabbing and limited font size and weight variations to give an uncontrived appearance. A palette was selected based upon naturally occurring hues.The end result is a simple, humble brand that's both warm and inviting to match the hospitality on offer at The Trout Inn.
